Then speak to the locksmith direct (not a call center) and we will come to your aid as fast as possible. Opening your door will depend on the type of lock you have. If it’s a cylinder rim lock (Yale lock) our Locksmith will try and pick the cylinders where possible. We will then replace the cylinder with one to British Standard BS3621:2004 in order to meet your insurance requirements, supplied complete with new keys. If we deem it faster we will drill the lock to open the door and then change the lock barrel. Barrel changes on Yale type locks are inexpensive and obviously will come with a complete set of new keys. |

If you lose keys to a mortice lock a we will usually drill the lock to gain entry, replace the lock and provide a new set of keys. We could pick the lock to gain entry and then make a new key for the lock. However, making keys is more time consuming and therefore often the more expensive option. |
